SURVIVAL STRATEGY

Tao shows no mark for an arrow to find.
The sage takes no offence.

Tao holds no shape for a blow to land upon.
The sage's position is elsewhere, yet always here.

Tao takes no form for a snare to entrap.
The sage's ideas are not constrained or bound.

Tao has no substance for venom to undo.
The sage's integrity endures.

Tao bears all.
The sage bears with all.

 

Attempts to 'attack' Tao or its followers have no value or purpose, and completely miss the point - if there were a point to miss!
Taoism is free from static dogma or moral prescription, inclining instead towards a dynamic and pragmatic approach to living life.

SENSE OF PURPOSE
